Our Executive Team
Frank J. Moley was the CEO (and the ‘FJM’) of FJM and Associates of Buffalo Inc. His vision in creating this organization was to provide the often forgotten ‘50 and Under’ Small Business Market with access to the programs, products and services that many Brokers only offer to larger accounts. A true hands-on professional, Frank was actively involved in all facets of running the Agency.
As a 45 year veteran of the Insurance Industry, Frank has appeared in Business First Magazine and achieved numerous awards for superior sales and service. Bolstered by his exceptional Recruiting, Training & Team Building skills and utilizing the ‘Consultative Selling’ approach, Frank crafted a team of professional Benefit Specialists to work with all kinds of Businesses and Individuals to design, implement and install custom Employee Benefit programs.
A firm believer in the power of education, Frank attended dozens of State, Regional and International Sales and Marketing Conferences to further his knowledge in the Employee Benefits Field through out his career. He was also a part-time Instructor with Bryant & Stratton College in their Insurance Division and previously served as Professional Development Chair on the Board of the Greater Niagara Frontier New York Association of Health Underwriters (GNFNYAHU).
Frank entered the Employee Benefits Industry in 1995 when he ‘turn-keyed’ the WNY Region of Aflac NY which he ran successfully for nearly 10 years. Recognizing that representing a single carrier entity was not conducive to his vision of being a ‘full-service’ Benefits Broker, he joined forces with a local Firm as President of their Employee Benefits Division. In the span of 15 years, he went from a ‘scratch operation’ with a handful of accounts, to an organization currently servicing nearly 800 WNY businesses, representing thousands of Owners, Employees and their Families.
In 2019, the time had come to expand the Family Business under the banner of FJM and Associates of Buffalo Inc. Frank, his son Paul, daughter Melissa and the rest of their team of professionals welcomed this exciting opportunity to continue the unprecedented growth they have experienced since 2004 by continuing to offer the best products and programs, combined with exemplary customer service, while continuing to form strategic alliances with the top Carriers, Brokers and Agents in the Employee Benefits Market.
With Frank's recent untimely passing, Paul and Melissa are now the owners and operators of FJM & Associates. They realize that the best way to honor the legacy of their father is to continue espousing the values and core principals he instilled in them from day one.
Paul, Melissa and the whole team at FJM promise to continue the FJM culture of Kindness, Caring and Respect that has helped them turn so many Prospects into Clients and Clients into Friends.

Despite these increasing demands on his time, Paul was also the Organizer and Lead Coordinator of ‘Connor Strong’, a Street Hockey Fund-Raising Event which generated over $100,000 to help a local family with a child facing a devastating health crisis. Also, through his affiliation with The Western New York Allstate Agents Charity Fund, Paul has been an active participant in their annual Charity Golf Tournament which directly supports ‘Make a Wish of WNY’.
Paul is a licensed Life, Accident & Health Agent in NY, PA, & OH as well as a Certified Agent on the New York State of Health Exchange. Throughout his career, Paul has been recognized for numerous Regional, State & International Awards and has attended many elite Sales Conferences presented by some of the top Fortune 500 companies FJM & Associates represents.
Whether interacting with his Agents, Brokers or Clients, Paul draws on his years of experience working closely with his father in the Employee Benefits Industry to provide much needed and requested services to the often ‘Forgotten Market’ of the 5-50 person employee group.
Paul & his team of Benefit Specialists understand the unique needs of these sized groups and combine Active Listening with Consultative Selling to produce custom recommendations involving Innovative and Responsive Products and Services that have helped Hundreds of Businesses and Thousands of Individuals throughout WNY.
Paul lives in Wheatfield NY, with his wife Kristin and their two children Mia & Nicholas. Proving the apples don’t fall far from the tree, both of his children are quite involved in sports and other extracurricular activities and Paul has logged 100’s of volunteer coaching hours over the past 10 years, including the last several years as an active member of the Board of Directors for the Wheatfield Blades Youth Hockey Association.
When he can take some much needed ‘me time’, Paul enjoys traveling with his family, the occasional round of golf and playing his guitar.

Melissa Laird is the Vice President / Employee Benefits Coordinator at FJM & Associates of Buffalo Inc. where she prides herself in providing the highest level of Comprehensive Customer Service to their nearly 800 Health, Employee Benefit and Voluntary Insurance clients. Melissa is also the primary contact person for any claims or billing issues for the Voluntary Benefits Division.
In her 16 years in the Employee Benefits Industry, Melissa has garnered countless accolades from clients and co-workers alike for her prompt, courteous and efficient handling of any of their issues or requests. In 2013 she received the Customer Service Award from the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce which prompted a letter from Senator Patrick M. Gallivan congratulating her on this achievement.

Michael S. Kling joined FJM & Associates of Buffalo Inc. in 2005 as a Benefit Specialist. His commitment to Customer Service and willingness to go the extra mile lead to his promotion to Senior Account Executive in 2010.
In addition to maintaining contact and coordinating re-enrollments for over 350 Accounts, Mike works with Independent Brokers and Exclusive Agents to Analyze, Design and Implement Customized Employee Benefit programs for businesses of all types and sizes throughout WNY.

Daniel C. Judge, LUTCF is our the Director of Marketing and he is responsible for getting the word out across a variety of Media Platforms about FJM & Associates of Buffalo Inc. Dan has been a member of the local Insurance community for over 30 years and he works closely with Independent Brokers and Exclusive Agent Partners to provide them and their staff with the training and support they need to Evaluate, Recommend and Implement Relevant Employee Benefit solutions for their business clientele.

Jeffrey Husarek is an Insurance Professional and Financial Advisor with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, both in management and sales. He holds a New York State Life, Accident and Health license and is Series 6 and 63 registered.
Since joining us here at FJM & Associates in 2021, Jeff has proven to be a fantastic addition to our team. He takes great pride in his commitment to his ongoing professional development and brings an intense desire to be of service to the hard-working people of WNY.
To Jeff, (aside from spending time with his family) nothing is more exciting, energizing and fulfilling than building his business and continually striving to be better. He has completed his Level 4 USA Hockey coaching certifications and has been a volunteer assistant coach for youth hockey since 2009. Jeff has also been a volunteer assistant coach with the North Tonawanda Athletics Association for Lacrosse since 2015.
